Hello everybody!

Me and my friend will fly from Moscow to Belgrad next Friday (11 February), late at night.

We don't know at all - how we'll get to Kopaonik... :(
We will stay in "AS Apartments".

Can anybody help us to know - how get to "AS Apartments" in Kopaonik :?:

We heard that it is possible by bus: from Belgrad to Kopaonik (somebody say it starts 7...8:00 in a morning)

What the place from which bus starts, name of bus company and what the time of bus start (учфсдеднб if possible)? :?:

Any other kind of transport to Kopaonik exists?

Thanks a lot everybody who will answer!

Yup, to Kopaonik you can get only by Bus or car. I've checked for you info regarding to departure from Belgrade, and there is, from the main Bus station - downtown.

Bus leaves every day at: 7:00h, 8:00h and 12:00h

Travel to Kopaonik lasts arround 5:30 hours, and bus delivers you to the center, where are located all hotels (including AS).

Main problem for you is, that you can't book (reserve) a ticket for bus, you can only buy tickets if there will be available (at the place)...

Rgds!

Tanks, Laki!!! :)

It is very important info for us!

One more question, plz:
How can I find main Bus station in downtown?
If I ask people in Belgrad about place of "main bus station in downtown" - most likely they understand me and will say - where it is? (or be best way in this case to use Russian (language)? )
Is there exists map of Belgrad in the internet (I afraid shops will be closed when we'll arrive) ?
(I am trying hard to find it, but still no result :( )

Thank you once again, Laki !!

Best regards, Andrei

I think that the bus from the airport drive to downtown bus station or nearby, or you can take a taxi. I'm not from Belgrade, but when I go there by plane, I usualy take a taxi, and it cost about 15 eur I think. Anyway Laki can tell you better info than I

You're wellcome! :D There is a map on internet, but it is not easy to use (only on Serbian language) :( Any way, later I'll make you some kind of ruote with map, where is the center core, bus station, etc...

Regarding language (meaning on younger population) 60% speaks English, 25% Russian and 15% other (or none) :D So whatever you decide, I prefer it first in Russian to ask, than in English...

Ok, here are few pics for your ruote in Belgrade...

One more question, Laki - you're so kind!.. :)

Can we leave our luggage at the main Bus station?
(some kind of check-room (luggage office) exists? )
Is it open round-the-clock?

We'll arrive late at night, bus depart early in the morning...
So, we plan to walk about Belgrad at night
(but without snowboard, ski, rucksack... )

Thank you in advance!

No problem (at least somebody of you two is snowboarder too)! :D When is your departure from Moscow any way?

Few more important info's; exchange rate for 1 euro is arround 80 dinars (almost everything must be payed in "dinars").

Hour difference - example: in Moscow 20:00h, while in Belgrade 18:00h (I think you know that, but just to mention...)

Wellcome!

Hi, Andrej!

Just a slightest correction: AS apartments are not within the Kopaonik center ( the place where the bus stops, or from where the ski lifts run).

They are in the so called "private-house-area" - Treska 4km from the ski center. But do not be disappointed with that fact, that area is fully reachable by buses, and is very comfortable.

See it yourself at http://www.asapartmani.com/ (there is an english version :) )

Have a nice time !

As I can see everybody missed one important fact. There is other way to reach Kopaonik. It is by minibus (small buss with 10-12 seats). This buss will pick you up at your address (or hotel) and take you to Kop.

You have to e-mail or maybe better to call (http://www.filip.co.yu, +381 11 3374 062, +381 11 3033 848) the agency for the reservation and information.

If you don’t like taxi service cheating ask for the signed bill from the taxi driver. My suggestion for the hotel in the city is Hotel Royal, Kralja Petra 10. Transfer airport-hotel Royal 15Euro approximately.

Hotel As is situated in Treska 4 km away from the center but the owner will provide transportation to the center (to the center and back 1euro/day). You can arrange anything with the owners - these people are very polite.
Enjoy.

Ups, I've missed this point, true.

#Andrei: Yup, I'm a snowboarder too! :D I've sent you an e-mail, check it out. And yeah, maybe you should consider renting a hotel in Belgrade, unless you plan not to sleep all night...

Thank you, Arijel !

"Treska"! It is word exactly what I need!!! :D
Am I right: I have to ask bus driver to stop at Treska?
Or "Treska" - it is extensive area?
How is it pronounced in Serbian: [tresk'A] or [tr'Eska] ? :)

See it yourself at http://www.asapartmani.com/ (there is an english version)

Yes, I saw this site, of course... But...
They don't have a map of "AS Apartment" location in Kopaonik area..

Well, you are correct, but that info is related to "Lasta" bus company, not to main "BAS" bus station which is, on the other hand, correct like I wrote.

Any way that could be aditional usefull info to previos departures.
